Friday 9th March  2012 at 7.30pm. We welcomed back singers Alex Kidgell and Carris Jones to perform Pergolesi's beautiful Stabat Mater, accompanied by the Hampden Quartet and friends, led by violinist Alexandra Reid.  The second half of the concert featured the quartet performing some of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and contrasting modern tango settings by Piazzolla of the same seasons – a fun and flamboyant way to end the evening!  For this concert of mostly Baroque music, Libby Burgess directed the musicians from the harpsichord.
