Live for Christ, advance the Gospel

St. Peter’s Church Centre
Originally the village school, the building was purchased by St. Peter’s for use as church rooms. Over the last twenty years it's been well used by many people. But it was looking a bit tired and needed work doing on it.
We wanted it to shout welcome. We wanted to put in new toilets, better access, better lighting and flooring and a new kitchenette so that the two halls can be used independently and welcome more people. We want to spruce the place up so it's cleaner and brighter. Most of this work has been done over the Summer and is continuing.
Thanks to generous gifts from church members and a small grant from Mid Sussex District Council, we now only have had to raise £75,000 to complete this. Quite a large part of this money has been raised but we still need to find the rest. This work will make a big difference to the welcome people feel and how the centre can be used.
St Peter's Church Centre is a place of fond memories for many villagers who went to school there.
